Authenticated Alexander McQueen Honeycomb Jacquard Pencil Skirt

Designer Alexander McQueen–Spring 2013 Collection, made in Italy. The COA (Certificate of Authenticity) will be provided with the skirt. I purchased from original owner in 2019 and it has been stored over the past 3 years. Excellent to Mint Condition, gently, gently worn. Beautiful Honeycomb Jacquard Pencil Skirt in a Metallic Gold and Black Trim, perfect for the holidays. Skirt Italian size 46/US size 10. Please refer to the measurements which I have provided below.

The structured of skirt, is just below the knee, with a 7″invisible zipper, hook & eye closure at top and a 6″ kick pleat in back. The first picture shows skirt tapered as to show off the style (to big for mannequin), and the third picture shows off skirt un-tapered, to view actual size. The fabric content of outer skirt is; 43% Silk, 47% Polyester, 10% Polyamide, fully lined in black and is 74% Acetate and 26% Silk.

History of Alexander McQueen; Born: Lee Alexander McQueen, March 17th 1969, London England, found dead February 11th, 2010 in London. Died tragically by suicide only a few days after the passing of his mother. Mr. McQueen was a British fashion designer and couturier. He founded his own label in 1992 and was chief designer at Givenchy from 1996 to 2001. He was known for his extravagant, lavish runway shows and incorporating new technologies into his shows. The Metropolitan Museum of Art show cased an exhibition of his entitled “Savage Beauty” it became one of the most popular exhibits in the history of the Met. His legacy is carried on by long time assistant and friend Sarah Burton as creative designer. FYI- Ms. Burton, designed the wedding dress for Kate Middleton when she married Prince William.
