Fabulous Mary McFadden, from her 2000 Collection and perfect suit for the spring and summer. This is a stylish, amazing Hot Pink 2 Piece Suit, pre-owned. Size 8,but please refer to measurements given below. This suit is free from discoloration, snags, tears and holes. Excellent to Mint Condition. Europe size 38, UK size 10 and Japan 11.

The suit is constructed of 97% Polyester and 3% Rayon. Jacket is single breast with a notched collar that is 3 1/2″ wide, with 4 front buttons for fastening, 3 buttons on the sleeves and has shoulder pads. The suit has streams of white interwoven in the fabric so that is shows sparsely throughout suit. I have described the skirt in the measurement section.

Measurements of garment was taken lying flat. Please Double: Skirt Waist 14″, Hips 20″. Actual: Skirt Waist to Hemline 25″ and has a 7″ zipper with one button and 1″ waist band. Jacket; Please Double: Bust 19″, Waist 17″. Actual Shoulder to Shoulder 16 1/2″, Jacket length 26, Sleeve length 23″.

History of Mary McFadden: Known for her exotic design. She began her career in 1973 selling hand painted silk dress at Bendel’s. In 1975 she patented a new pleating technique, which produce a fabric that look Fortuny, but was made from polyester and in which the pleating was permanent. This fabric became her trademark.
