Vintage 1960’s Original by Date-Maker Formals. This stylish Sheath style dress in a color referred to as “Grass Green” is simply elegant. Great for hostessing during the Holidays, add final touches; hair up, earrings, add some bangles/bracelets and a stunning pair of mules. The dress is sleeveless with a bandied gold front with imitation pearls and rhinestones, which are all accounted for. The back of dress has 2 bows, one bow at neckline w/2 hooks and eyes and snap closure, below that, is a diamond cut out. The second bow has snap closure, with hook and eye above 14 1/2″ metal zipper. The dress is fully lined in 100% acetate. The color green wasn’t worn much in the 50’s which made it a perfect rebellion color for the 1960’s. No fabric tag, but it is a Silk Blend. Excellent Vintage condition.

Measurements were taken lying flat: Actual: Bust 32″, Waist 30″ Hips 34″. Dress length is 53″, from shoulder to hemline.

Information of Date-Maker Formals: I could only locate address for company at 1385 Broadway, NY,NY. They were an Importer, Manufacturer and Wholesale. I still continue to look for additional information. I believe they were in business from 1940’s to late 1960’s. Will update when and if I find additional information.
