Vintage 1960’s Couture, Silk Cocktail Dress w/Swing Jacket in Bronze and Black

Vintage 1960’s Pret -a- Porter, which is Ready to Wear Couture design. Beautiful Silk, in gorgeous colors of Bronze and Black.  This 1960’s Ensemble is truly gorgeous,  in style and color. The Dress is striped horizontally and the style is empire. The front of dress has 2″ band with bow, with 4 darts in front, and is a straight fit from waist. The back of dress has a V back 10″ from shoulder to zipper, with 4 darts in back,  3″ kick pleat, with a back 16″ metal zipper and finished off with hook an eye. The tag in dress states Size 14, but by today’s standards between 8-10. But, please go by measurements that are provided below. 

The Jacket is swing style, with 2 side pockets and 4 darts on collar (2 on each side about 1 1/4″ in length). The lapel (front) at widest point of neckline is 5 1/2″ and becomes narrow down the front of jacket, with 3/4″ sleeves. Jacket is fully lined.

Measurements of garment taken lying flat. Please Double: Dress; Bust 17″ Waist 15″, Hips 18″.  Actual:  Shoulder to Shoulder 14 1/2″, Shoulder to hemline 38 1/2″.  Double: Jacket; Bust 24″, Waist and Hip area are free. Actual: Sleeve length 18″, Shoulder to hemline is 35 1/2″. Widest point of jacket at bottom is 37″.
