History of Lilli Ann: Founded in 1933 by Adolph Schuman in San Francisco, Lilli Ann became synonymous with exquisite, elaborately designed suits and coats. The 1960’s witnessed the emergence of the Lilli Ann Knits line and the mod-inspired London line. Adolph Schuman’s legacy persisted under his heirs’ guidance after his passing in 1985. However, by the 1990s, the company changed hands and was subsequently closed by 2000.
