Vintage 1980s Bullocks Wilshire Faux Fur Knit Sweater Jacket

Excellent Vintage Condition! 1980’s Bullocks Wilshire Faux Fur, Button Knit Sweater Jacket. In colors of Grey, Black, White with a slight tan around the collar– gorgeous. The front of Jacket has a V-front neckline with 4 black shank buttons with elastic fastener(s). The style of Jacket is more inline to a bomber type style jacket. The Jacket has a heavy knit under the collar, around the neck and the top of the back ( 6″ from neckline), as well as the trim for front, bottom of jacket and cuff of sleeves. The jacket has shoulder pads, side pockets and the lining is 100% acetate. Jacket tag size 10, (about a size 8 or medium by todays standards) but please refer to measurements provided below. Jacket has been professionally cleaned.

History of Bullock’s/Bullocks: The building opened in September 1929 as a luxury department store for owner John G. Bullock. When it opened in 1929, the building was one of the first Art Deco structures built in the United States. In the 70’s the apostrophe was drop from the name. For more than 60 years, the name Bullocks Wilshire was synonymous with elegance and style. Macy’s incorporated them into and rebranded them as I. Magnin in 1989, before closing I. Magnin entirely in 1994.
