Vintage 1970’s Designer Alfred Shaheen Pleated Palazzo Jumpsuit. The tag listed is size 12, but please go by the  measurements provided below. This color is absolutely stunning, it is referred to as “Azurean”. The design of this jumpsuit is gorgeous with all those amazing pleats and sheer sleeves and colorful motifs to bodice and waistband. The jumpsuit has a crew neckline, 23″ nylon back zipper with hook and eye closure, sheer chiffon sleeves w/ 3″cuff and 3 covered fabric buttons same as bodice and 4 1/2″waistband. Very minor flaw, snag in both sleeve’s near cuff not noticeable, minor! Can provide additional pictures on request. The Jumpsuit itself, no snags or discoloration in material. Fabric content 100% Polyester.  Very Good Vintage.

Measurements were taken lying flat: Actual measurements: Bust 37″, Waist 28″, Hips 47″, Inseam 28″ Rise 29″, Sleeve length 25″, Shoulder to Shoulder 16″, Shoulder to hemline 57″.

History of of Alfred Shaheen: Is one of the best known of the Hawaiian garment and textile designers. Shaheen was active from 1948 into the 1980’s. The company closed in 1988 when he retired.
