Vintage 1980s Christian Dior beautiful Mohair off-white Jacket. There were no material tags affixed to jacket but, fabric appears to be wool and mohair and is unlined. The construction of the jacket is loose fitting, and with the dolman sleeves, the shoulder seams will hang over your shoulders, so keep that in mind! The jacket has 2 front shank buttons, and loops for closure. The oversize collar front of jacket at the widest point is 7.5″ and back collar 2.5″. The collar and end of sleeves are both trimmed in a off white braided cord (excellent condition). The sleeves are dolman style and are 10″ wide and narrow to 7″ at wrist, which is a loose fit.

History Information: Burnett’s was a Women’s Sportswear store located in Richmond, Virginia. It was owned and operated by Mrs. Gloria Sim (DOB-12-3-1924 – DOD-10- 3-2015), she passed away at the age of 90 years. The store was located in Willow Lawn Shopping during the 1950s, which then reopened at Carytown, Virginia, from 1979 to 1989. She also taught fashion merchandising at Richmond Professional Institute. Mrs. Sim was a business women ahead of her time.
