Vintage 1980’s Gray Jacket Designer Emanuel Ungaro

Vintage 1980’s Emanuel Ungaro, Jacket; Size Label 16(please see measurements below). Gorgeous Charcoal Gray double breasted Jacket.Fabric content is 70% Linen and 30% Silk.

Measurements were taken lying flat. Please Double:Bust 22:, Waist 21/2″, Hips 23″. Actual Shoulder to Shoulder 16 1/2″, Sleeve Length 22″, Shoulder to hemline 33 1/2″, back of jacket has a 12″ slit.

History: Emanuel Ungaro was trained by his father who, was a tailor. Emanuel moved to Paris were he worked for Balenciaga then Courreges. He open his own couture house in 1965. He was known for his space age tailoring that appeal to the young. Overtime he was more of a colourist, using softer more fluid fabrics. He retired in 2005 and sold his label to internet entrepreneur Asim Abdullah for $84 Million. Excellent Vintage.
