Vintage 1980’s Label Black Tie, by Oleg Cassini. Gorgeous Ivory Silk Sequin Palazzo Pant Suit. Label size 12, but please refer to measurements listed below. I would say by todays standards garment is a Size 10. The top of the jacket has a single hook & eye closure, is open below that and has shoulder pads. Jacket is dripping truly with brilliant and dazzling colors in gold, silver, and copper sequins and none are missing. The jacket also consist of pearls with gray and gold seed beads surrounding some of the areas of sequins and none are missing.
The palazzo pants has a back 7″ nylon zipper with a snap, and hook & bar closure at top. A perfect and festive ensemble for the up coming holidays. Excellent Vintage condition. Item has been dry cleaned and ready for shipment.

Measurements taken lying flat; Please Double: Jacket-Bust:21 1/2″. Actual: Shoulder to hemline 23″, Sleeve Length 24 1/2″. Please Double: Pants- Waist 14 1/2″, Hips 23″. Actual: Waist to hemline 42 1/2″, Flare width 16 1/2″.

History of Oleg Cassini (1913-2006): He started designing in 1936. His look was very sexy and at time, flamboyant. He was best known as the “Couturier to Camelot” and his fashion collaboration with First Lady Jackie Kennedy. That collaboration had a profound impact on the way American women dress, with the “Jackie O” look coming to mean simple designs with easy fit, straight lines, boxy jackets. One of Oleg Cassini’s last lines was the Platinum Collection made to order, based on designs of 1960 for Mrs. Kennedy.
