Vintage 1990 “All That Jazz” by Chorus Line.  This Sheath Style Dress, I call Red Pepper, Size 9/10. But, please review measurements which are provided below. The plunging V-Neck, pleated front with gold heart pin has rhinestones. The V-Back has 14″ zipper with a 2″ kick split. This is surely a great little number for any  gathering. Mint Condition.

Measurements of garment were taken lying flat. Please Double: Bust 16 1/2″, Waist 15″, Hip 18″. Actual: Shoulder to hemline 35″. No tears, rips, holes or discoloration. Fabric content is 55% Rayon and 45% Acetate.

History: Chorus line Company was founded in 1975 by three men in Southern California. Barry Sacks, Mark Steinman and Jay Balaban, three Los Angeles-based businessmen who came up with the company’s name after realizing their wives all shared a mutual love of dance. This was one of the most successful moderately priced apparel companies in the United States. Despite being established during a time in which the retail industry was far from stable. The company’s most visible and successful line, a juniors brand called All That Jazz. Its focus was on women in their 20’s and 30’s during the 80’s and 90’s. Another label was added to Chorus line called Molly Malloy with added emphasis on both lines on after-five and more formal dresses.

An article appeared in the Los Angeles Business Journal  Chorus Line was one of the very best apparel companies in the business, that article was around 1999/2000. They have new designers and I guess a whole new attitude. Chorus Line is still very much around with over 30 plus years in the business.
