Vintage 1990’s Stylish and Fabulous is this Alberto Makali Sport Reptile Suit. Tag states a size 12, but please review measurements which I have provided below. This suit is yellow, brown and blue in color. The colors are vibrant and free of fading.  Fabric content 97% polyester and 3% Spandex. This texture looks and feels like brushed suede. The skirt, has a 1″ waistband, 6″nylon zipper with button fastener and fully lined in 100% yellow polyester. The Jacket, has notched collar, shoulder pads, 4 front buttons, 2 pockets with flap cover (flap has to 2 studs on each with 1 stud on actual pocket) and fully lined 100% polyester. The back of jacket gives the look of a peplum at the bottom. No tears, snags or discoloration.

Measurements for garment were taken laying flat. Please Double: Skirt; Waist 15″, Hips 19″.  Actual skirt length 20 1/2″.  Please Double:  Jacket; Bust 18 1/2″. Actual  Shoulder to Shoulder 17″, Sleeve length 23 1/2″, and Jacket length 24 1/2″.

History:  This designer has been around for over 20 years. I know this, because I have been wearing his clothes since its conception. The company was founded in 1981 and is a family run business.   Alberto Makali, styles are flattering to the female form, vibrant, rich in color and artistic. Some of his clients to name a few  include, Vanna White, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Brooke Mueller and Nicollette Sheridan. His design’s have been seen on the Red Carpet, so be on the look out for garments made by him. His garments range from couture to classic casuals. This design was for Cache who had purchased Lillie Rubin in 1990 and added a sportswear line, which Designer Alberta Makali designed some of its sportswear collection.
