Vintage 1950’s Cloche Faux Fur Hat by Helios. Made in Italy. Hat was sold at De Lendrecies (so please review all information).  After doing more research, its not uncommon to find different labels in a hat. The union label is under the grosgrain. Very sophisticated and elegant is this Black Cloche Hat with the 2″ band and decorative bow (grosgrain). Also included, is the original box from De Lendrecies. Sometimes you don’t need a lot of words, as the picture says it all! But, I will expound a little further. Who can forget Ms. Angelina Jolie, in the movie The Changeling, sporting her Cloche style hat. This hat lost is popularity in the 40’& 50’s and enjoyed a brief resurgence in the 60’s. I love it, think its FAB! Mint Condition! Measurements of Hat: Circumference 23″,Crown 5 1/2″.

History: DeLendrecies was a store located in Fargo, North Dakota. Built in 1894 and was in business for 100 years. The store changed hands twice(but retaining the name)sold to Mercantiles Co, in 1955 and Dillard Inc, in 1998. DeLendrecie’s was converted to Herberger banner. The store closed in 1998.
