Vintage 1980’s Incredible and Beautiful, is this abstract Dress in colors of Olive, Mustard, Black & White. Size 11. But, please go by measurements that I have provided below. Designed by Judy Knapp of Knapp Studios. This Sheath style dress, with crisscross back straps with a 16″side-front slit is purely sexy. The dress has an 11″ nylon zipper in back. Fabric content is 100% Linen. Dress is Mint Condition. No tears, holes, snags or discoloration.

Measurements of garment were taken lying flat. Please Double: Bust 17″, Waist 17 1/2″, Hips 19″.  Actual: Length is 46″, Straps from front to back 15″.

History on Judy Knapp/Knapp Studios: Judy Knapp started Joel and Judy Knapp Corporation from home and developed it into a large company. In Los Angeles, Calif, December 2013, Joel and Judy Knapp Corp Co-Owner Judy Knapp has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in sportswear. Joel and Judy Knapp Corp is a clothing design firm that provides know-woven tops and sportswear, with a focus on very stylish and trendy designs. As a clothing designer of women’s sportswear, she is still working in the industry after spending 40 years in manufacturing in California. She majored in Spanish and studied French and Italian at NYU, which enabled her to communicate with other countries, aiding her business tremendously.
She has received many awards, principally two Tommy’s for design and one for all years from 1985 to 1994. She and her partner got married in New York and moved to LA in 1964, they started the business in their home crocheting handbags. It turned into a large company in the late 70’s, but especially in the 80’s and 90’s. The label was Judy Knapp, and they had a number of divisions. She attributes her success to her persistence, motivation and desire to succeed.
