Vintage 1960’s Multi Color Maxi Dress. Iconic 1960’s style, Rhapsody by Glazier–Chicago, New York, Los Angeles label. This is a spectacular sleeveless abstract dress, in Multi colors of Orange, White,Olive Green, Lime Green, Red and Purple. Dress has a ruffle front neckline an continues along back neckline an drops into a V back, pleated back drape with 15″ metal zipper. No size label, I would say a Large, but please use measurements listed below. No fabric content label but I believe fabric to be Polished Cotton. Dress has only had 1 owner, very well cared for and Excellent Vintage Condition. Professionally cleaned.

History of Glazier: Robert E. Glazier who operated a family apparel business that supplied leisure wear and sleepwear to major Chicago area retailers. He was president of the Chicago-based Glazier Corp., which operated the Rhapsody Fashion clothing line. He was president of the apparel company from 1948 to 1988, After closing his apparel operation, he retired for about 3 weeks and quickly decided to start another career. He began as a real estate broker and eventually built his real estate development business under the same family name as the retail business. For the past decade, Glazier Corp., has developed retail buildings and medical centers throughout the Chicago area. Mr. Glazier died in 1998.
