Vintage 1960’s Lilli Ann Mod Paisley Maroon and Beige Knit Coat. This is a gorgeous paisley designed knit style coat with a notch collar, with 4 covered knit beige buttons down the front for closure and with 2 flap faux pockets in beige with a ribbed trim interwoven in maroon and beige. You have that same interwoven ribbed trim in maroon and beige outlining the collar, front of coat, hemline and sleeves. The interior of coat is lined in a cream color of 100% polyester. Condition of Coat, Excellent Vintage no tears, stains or discoloration. Coat is about a Medium fit, but please go by measurements that are provided below. All items have been professionally cleaned.

History of Lilli Ann: Company was started in San Francisco in 1933 by Adolph Schuman, naming the company after his wife Lillian. The company became known for their beautiful, elaborately designed suits and coats. In the 1960’s, there was a popular Lilli Ann Knits line and a mod inspired London line. Adolph Schuman died in 1985, but the company continued under the direction of his heirs. The company was sold in the 1990’s and was closed by 2000.
