Vintage 1980’s Fabulous couture design by Christian Lacroix. This is a gold tone 100% silk brocade pencil style skirt which has a floral design,with a 1″ waistband, a back button and hidden 7″ nylon zipper closure. It has a gold tone colorful floral lining. Its simplicity and elegance such grander style for the 1980’s. The tag size states 40 but, please go measurements that I have provided below. Mint Condition Vintage.

History Information on Christian Lacroix: He began his career as a fashion assistant at Hermes assistant in accessories. Fashion designer house of Jean Patou 1981-86. Fashion Designer house of Christian Lacroix, 1987— . Head designer for Pucci 2002—-. The French designer made a splash in the mid-1980’s with his haute couture line created first for the house of Patou then under his own name. Lacroix couture collections gained popularity in the early 2000’s his career especially relaunched by creating wedding dresses primarily in Europe. The business grew after he designed a wedding dress for the marriage of actress Catherine Zeta-Jones to Michael Douglas. Lacroix remained a fashion force. Lacroix history is rich and incredible. He was stated in an article “Today, I feel more than ever connected to the future. Ten years ago, my work was connected with the past, with nostalgia, but now the engine driving me is my life here now and the future”.
