Vintage 1970’s; DALTON-2 Piece Knit Evening Wear. Very Stunning, Size 14, but please review the measurements. I’m delighted to have uncovered this piece!! This is MINT Condition. I mean, like I just walked onto the showroom floor and pick out! It appears to have never been worn! This 2 piece assemble is knit. The top has a jewel neckline and is of semi-sheer knit, with touches of silver interwoven into knit. The sleeve has elastic at the end. The cord tie is black, with tassels on both ends.The back of top has a keyhole opening, with a re-enforced binding to keep from unraveling. Has hook and eye closure(perfect condition). Skirt’s waist is elasticized (perfect condition).

History of Dalton: Dalton was a famous American Cashmere maker. Company was founded in 1949 as the Fine Gauge Knitwear company b Arthur Dery and Maurice Saltzman. The company became well known for their high quality cashmere sweaters and also made coordinating separates such as shirts, slacks and blouses.
