Vintage 1980's Designer Bill Blass Rare Silk Dress for I.Magnin

Vintage 1980's; Icon Bill Blass for Iconic I. Magnin Store. Dress Size 8. Please review all measurements provided. This is a Rare Mint Condition, Blue/Black, Silk, Lace and Silk Taffeta Dress.  The top of dress is a double layer of lace, with long lace sleeves. The back features a keyhole open with a 14" zipper and single button closure. The top Silk Taffeta is pleated from bust to hip area. Accented with a half bow on right side. The inside of dress is completely lined in silk crepe. Truly a stunning dress! No holes, tears, rips or stains.

Measurements for garment were taken lying flat. Please Double: Bust 17", Waist 14", Hip 17". Actual Shoulder to Shoulder is 15", Shoulder to hemline 42".

History of Bill Blass: He was an American Icon. His designs were known for quality fabric and simple lines. His customers included Jacqueline Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe and Nancy Reagan to name a few.
